Brash Entertainment today announced the release of Space Chimps, a brand new action adventure game based on the CGI-animated Space Chimps film from the creator of Shrek, John H. Williams (Shrek and Shrek 2), Space Chimps the videogame combines the same colourful world and characters of the forthcoming film with a unique storyline that puts fans in the heart of the action with 11 levels of monkey fun and mayhem.

Ubisoft announced today that it will be releasing new patches for two of its recent PC releases, the first patch will bring Assassin's Creed to version 1.02, and the second patch will give an update to Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 bringing it to version 1.02.

Lucas Arts and Traveller's Tales have released a demo of LEGO Indiana Jones. The game, due to be released this June, will follow the storyline of the three films. Visit the official site for more info.

Funcom and Eidos announced today that the Age of Conan beta test has reached the 1 million sign-up stage, confirming that the game is one of the most anticipated MMO's to date.

“Funcom has not been able to find any higher beta numbers for MMOs in the western world,” said Morten Larssen, VP of Funcom Sales and Marketing. “We believe it represents the largest ever beta sign-up figure in the history of the genre.”

Rare community manager George Kelion has talked about the recently leaked screenshots of Banjo-Kazooie which were originally embargoed until tomorrow, but now almost every site under the sun is hosting the screenshots.

The first details from the PlayStation Gamers day in London are starting to come through, with Sony Computer Entertainment President Kaz Hirai confirming that LittleBigPlanet will be released on the PlayStation 3 this October 2008.

It was previously confirmed for September 2008, which means it'll see a months delay.

Sony has revealed a list of all the games that will be showcased at its PlayStation Gamers Day which is currently taking place in London.

Games such as Mirror's Edge, Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet and Resistance 2 are on show, whilst the list also includes Motorstorm 2 which now appears to be called MotorStorm Pacific Rift.
