THQ's Warhammer 40K Space Marine gameplay exposed, oops

In what seems to have been a premature release of a 10-minute long movie, THQ Australia's Warhammer 40K Space Marine shows off its third-person action.

It comes with developer commentary and shows the player in his Spare Marine ensemble brutalising foes. Most of the action is emphasis with swordplay and finishers.

Take-Two reveal delay for Rockstar's Midnight Club: Los Angeles

The game is now expected to arrive October 21st. They announced the delay at a conference call with Take-Two CFO Lainie Goldstein citing marketing reasons.

Rockstar San Diego is handling Midnight Club: Los Angeles with the game blazing onto Xbox 360 and PS3, and a smaller fanfare on PSP with LA Remix.

In a blog article for Edge Online, game writer Tom Jubert offers his take on the 'crisis' of PC piracy. He's not all that convinced by Crytek's Cevat Yerli and his statistics.

He explains that some of these figures and hysteria don't give a "true impact of piracy on the PC", mainly because some markets just aren't that big to start with.

EA's Dead Space release brought closer again, due October 14th

Date pushbacks are usually the norm but EA has announced yet another change to the schedule bringing sci-fi horror survivor Dead Space even earlier.

It'll be available on Xbox 360 and PS3 the 14th with the PC version on the 20th. Let's hope then that all this finishing ahead of schedule delivers a stellar game.

Call of Duty: World At War arriving November 11th say Activision

The latest in the franchise, developed by Treyarch, will be hitting the European and Asia-Pacific theatres of war this November.

Gamers who pre-order the Xbox 360 and PC versions will also get access to a multiplayer beta, which will run next month. It's also being released on PS3, PS2, Wii and DS.

Electronic Arts will be promoting its release of Mercenaries 2: World in Flames by hijacking a London petrol station this morning and giving away £20,000 of FREE petrol to customers.

The entire forecourt of Last Stop Ltd near Finsbury Park, North London will be completely transformed into that of a military style bunker, with jeeps, oil barrels, sandbag walls, and fully costumed actors on hand to pump the petrol for the customers.
