No news whether Infinity Ward or Treyarch are handling the game but the latter is working on the new James Bond game, which will use the COD4 engine. | |

Those Middle-earth faring Pandemics have finally come clean - LotR: Conquest is a Battlefront style project letting gamers relive huge battles and more.
You can choose from orcs, elves, ents to Frodo, Gandalf and even ol 'One Eye' himself, with around 150 characters promised on screen at once. | |

Given the length of time DOOM 3 took to reach avid gamers it's almost shocking to hear anything about such a thing until 2015 or so. Some breaks in tradition are a good thing.

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe boss David Reeves has announced that a Metal Gear Solid 4 PlayStation 3 bundle will be made available for purchase in European stores from June 12th 2008. The bundle will include a copy of Metal Gear solid 4, along with a wireless controller and a 40GB PS3. No price point has been revealed yet, but we expect that to be announced at a later date. It'll most likely cost as much as the GTA IV bundle, which was £319.99. | |

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe boss David Reeves announced at the PlayStation Day that Killzone 2 will be released for the PlayStation 3 in February 2009. Pushing it back somewhat from its original date of September 2008, the title will skip the Christmas holiday season to be released early next year. | |

Sony has revealed a list of all the games that will be showcased at its PlayStation Gamers Day which is currently taking place in London. Games such as Mirror's Edge, Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet and Resistance 2 are on show, whilst the list also includes Motorstorm 2 which now appears to be called MotorStorm Pacific Rift. | |

The PC version of Mass Effect is going to require an Internet connection to play as the game comes with a copy protection/activation procedure that requires the Internet to go online and activate your copy. Gamers will be able to play Mass Effect for 10 days, but the game won't start up after this period until the software is able to go online and register your copy. | |

Other than a bit of a mouthful to say, the new version will include some new modes and cross-platform play say Capcom.
It's arriving at $29.99 for North America while the European tag is yet to be announced, but will be "in line with other platinum releases". | |
