The World of Warcraft developer has posted a new page detailing the new feature which will go live with Wrath of the Lich King's launch.
There'll be a host of categories for achievements and they won't be skimpy with humour either. Blizz also say that new ones will be added with future content updates. | |

The troubled Flagship which recently confirmed that scores of staff layoffs were true has posted a 'thank you' note to fans on their Mythos community forums.
Despite this message of farewell to "an incredible community that we've all felt priveleged to be a part of," the team reiterates their "hopes to stick together." | |

The City of Heroes and the City of Villains are to become one as NCsoft unveil their future plans for the online superheroes. Subscription to one will now net both games.
One more step awaits -- announced later in the year -- which will complete the merging of Heroes and Villains. The team proclaims this as "an evolution of the IP". | |

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe announced today that the recently revealed PS3 platinum range will be made available in Europe from 1st August, and the games will be reduced to £19.99. Recently the Hellgate: London and Mythos developer has been swamped with bad news and now those bad tidings are confirmed, but the studio is still alive - though barely.
They still retain ownership of all technologies and their IPs. They have discontinued all subscriptions with Hellgate and stopped billing. | |

In all of the who-ha created by Yoichi Wada’s FF XIII announcement, it can be easy to forget that he actually stood up on stage for a good 10 minutes before that telling us about the other RPG’s Square are working on. Nothing new in terms of gameplay or features, but each of the three up-coming ‘JRPGS’ were given release dates. | |

Yoichi Wada dropped a bombshell during the closing stages of the Microsoft Keynote speech: Final Fantasy XIII is coming to the Xbox 360. Whilst it is still being released on the Playstation 3, a 360 version is now defiantly in production. Long live Square Enix! | |
