Given the length of time DOOM 3 took to reach avid gamers it's almost shocking to hear anything about such a thing until 2015 or so. Some breaks in tradition are a good thing.

A New York Times article claims that Take-Two will be announcing this incredible news for Grand Theft Auto IV sales. 6 million copies sold, 3.6 the first day.
Extremely pleasing news for the publisher. Rockstar and Sony are also releasing a game patch to help multiplayer issues by reducing the load stress on servers. | |

Yes THQ is digging into the past to bring some of the wrestling entertainment industries greatest names back into the spotlight, at least in the videogame.

Paul Hollywood, creative director at Evolution, has said at Sony's PlayStation Day event that a demo for upcoming MotorStorm Pacific Rift is planned. He also said the game will "be locked at 30 frames-per-second in 720p", something the pre-alpha demo version lacked at the event. | |

The cartoon-ish boxing game, which lets gamers 'break' the face of their opponent, is the first game from under the new Freestyle brand.

The downloadable episodes will be twelve in total and presented in a "TV-style" starting this summer, it's based in the Japanese village of Hanuda.

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe boss David Reeves has revealed that the PlayStation 3 version of SingStar as sold over 220,000 units since its launch. Reeves also claims that each user of SingStar for the PS3 downloads on average over 6 tracks, with total sales for the SingStore reaching around one million units. | |
