Nintendo having promised previously that gamers would get to create their own rooms where they can chat to other racers, have now reversed their decision and instead have installed fixed phrases or taunts to use.
Who'd have thought Mario Kart would be a ticking-time bomb for sass and textual debauchery? | |

Sega has informed us about a new mode that will be appearing in The House of the Dead 2 & 3 for the Wii. This mode is entitled “Extreme mode” and is exclusive to the Wii version of the classic Zombie blaster. | |

The latest issue of Famitsu has revealed that Capcom could be planning on developing an updated version of Resident Evil Zero for the Wii. Its been called Biohazard 0 in Japan and will be released during the Summer, but no information was given for a release in Europe. | |

Those looking for extra goodies will be disappointed; this latest update adds no additional functionality to the Wii. To signal the arrival of new updates the consoles disc drive flashes blue, alerting gamers to available upgrades.
Said to improve behind-the-scenes performance with Nintendo citing this as only a quick update. | |

The US date for WiiWare, which allows users to develop their own games for the Wii, has already been set for May 12.
When asked about the Wii hungry Europeans getting their euro mitts on the home-brewing dev kit, Nintendo refuse to let up on the silence and won't even hint when an announcement could be made. | |
