 EALA Community Manager Justin Korthof let Strategy Informer know that Tiberium, a Command and Conquer FPS title, will not be making an appearance at this years E3. “Just to update you, we will not be showing Tiberium at E3 this year. The team’s priorities have them 100% heads down in making an awesome gameplay experience, and they’re going to remain focused on that. The big push will be starting later this year, though, so you’ll be getting plenty of new goodies then!” said Korthof. | |

 The splash page on the official Gears of War website may reveal the upcoming sequel's release date. The page features an image of a hand holding dog tags sporting the number '033-116-117-126-071'. Now, according to the clever folks at Kotaku, this translates to 'ESC-N-O-V-9' in ASCII octal values. We'll take their word for it. | |

 Amazon.com had a listing for Star Wars: Battlefront III last night, but since checking this morning it now appears that the page has been pulled. The game was mentioned for release on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PSP, DS, Wii and PlayStation 2, and had a release date of March 2009. | |
