Lighthouse Interactive has released the latest patch for Sword of the Stars: Born of Blood, which updates the game to version 1.5.2. Update 1.5.2 allows current owners of Born of Blood to play on custom maps created by others, and engage in multiplayer action with those who are playing the recently released version included in Sword of the Stars: Collector’s Edition. The Update however does not contain many of the robust features that are exclusive to the Collector’s Edition, such as the ability to share custom maps or create stand-alone servers.

The Crysis developer has said their move to go multi-platform is not over their concerns for software piracy on the PC but because it's "a logical step".

CryEngine 2 is yet to be announced in any upcoming Xbox360 or PS3 project - with E3 almost around the corner that could all change.

TriForce announced today that it has signed a deal with Epic Games that will see it producing 1:1 scale replicas of the weapons and armor from the Gears of War universe. No images have been revealed yet, but the full press release can be seen inside.
