The upcoming -- and highly anticipated -- MMORPG of Warhammer Online has given the snip to four capitol cities and four of the character classes because of quality issues.
Mythic VP Mark Jacobs reasons that they "wanted to make our capital cities the best cities in any MMO," so four got canned. The MMO is also to feature anti-cheat PunkBuster. | |

EA has announced its lineup for E3: Electronic Arts today unveiled the games it will feature at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) at the Los Angeles Convention Center July 15 – 17. Take-Two are to take the massively multiplayer plunge as they sign a publishing deal with City of Heroes/Villains developer Cryptic Studios, on their latest project.
Champions Online is their next superhero MMO that's said to have learnt a lot from their previous spandex suited creation. It's coming to PC and Xbox360, if Microsoft says yes. | |

The Hellgate: London dev, Flagship Studios, hopes that their new free-to-play MMO Mythos will "take down some" and "put a dent" in other rival MMO's when it launches.
Studio co-founder Max Schaefer admits that a flaw with Hellgate would be "trying to do too many things for too many people," something they're keen to avoid repeating with Mythos. | |

Lionhead Studios and Microsoft Game Studios today announced that consumers who pre-order a copy of Fable II will be given free access to download the Fable II Pub Games when they are released this August. Available exclusively on Xbox LIVE Arcade, fans can transfer the gold earned in these casino-style mini-games to the world of Fable 2. | |

The upcoming Dragon Age was announced quite a while back but very little info has trickled down from BioWare since then, which is all to change very soon.
They've updated the Dragon Age website with the excellent news that they plan to start yammering on about it. The RPG is expected to hit shops sometime before April '09. | |
