EA announces Harry Potter and the Half Blood Price for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3

EA and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today announced that the Harry Potter and the Half Blood Price video game will be released later this year to coincide with the upcoming film based on the sixth Harry Potter book by J.K. Rowling.

Feelpus president Ray Nakazato -- developer of Lost Odyssey -- says that studios in western countries still lead in the markets because of their expansive knowledge of PC development.

He concedes that Japanese developers produce less technical high end projects and that western PC veterancy gives them an edge when switching to the consoles.

According to Next-Gen, an ex-Activision employee from the recently death knelled Underground studio says Infinity Ward has entered re-negotiations to claim the franchise back.

Currently it alternates between Infinity and Treyarch but they'd like to keep their creation much closer to home.

Fallout 3 demo is impossible, says Pete Hines

Bethesda's Pete Hines revealed to Eurogamer that there will not be a demo released for Fallout 3, because it doesn't want to slice out a portion of the world, declaring that there is no way of having the world split.

According to the recent article from the guys and gals at CVG, upcoming DLC for Rockstar's insanely anticipated GTAIV may have "new downloadable cities."

They claim Rockstar "is clearly hinting" at the notion, are they also suggesting this is what Microsoft coughed up all those big bucks for?

We've published 7 new screenshots for Race Driver Grid, which is in development by Codemasters and is currently set for release on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.

Race Driver Grid will be released on 6th June, 2008.

Who said that artists steal? Whoever it was probably wasn't talking about Activision, who's pretty close to stealing Harmonix' idea for making a band game out of the Guitar Hero-styled play. Which is interesting, because it still is Guitar Hero. Hint hint.
