NCsoft Europe today announced the retail launch of The Kamael, the latest add-on pack for Lineage II: The chaotic Throne. The Kamael introduces for the first time an entirely new playable race, additional and evolving pets to train and fight alongside characters, fortresses to lay siege to and terrifying, high-level zones to conquer. It also comes with enhanced visuals and modified gameplay making it the largest update since the game was released. | |

Ubisoft may have revealed the official system requirements for the PC version of Assassin's Creed via a solution center page found on its official website. Many PC gamers will be upset to see what kind of hardware they'll need to run the game smoothly on their systems, because we really don't think a lot of people will be able to match the minimal requirements. | |
| Funcom announces delay for Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures | |

Funcom announced this morning a new release date for Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures. This MMO will now gain 8 more weeks of development, allowing Funcom to deliver an enchanced experience when it's released on the 20th May 2008. Funcom say they are: “fully committed to its communities and the quality-level they demand and deserve, and has previously postponed the Age of Conan launch. The changes implemented as the game was moved to a 2008 release have proven to greatly improve the experience for newcomers, while introducing a more involving and accessible character progression throughout the game.” | |

It's been years since anything has happened for Sega's old Megadrive, but thanks to a few hardcore fans a new game is going to be released for the cartridge based system later this year. Apparently the small team developing this title have been working on it for quite some time. It was originally called Tavern RPG but they've now named it Pier Solar and it's going to be a Japanese-style RPG. | |

Gamers Gate announced today that they've entered an agreement that will see an extensive PC digital distribution partnership with publisher THQ, allowing the company to offer several of THQ's titles for download at a set price. This agreement will allow worldwide access, excluding Australia and New Zealand, to Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts and Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance as well as the original titles Company of Heroes and Supreme Commander. | |

Codemasters Online announced this morning that they plan to reveal their new MMO game at an upcoming event called Connect 2008 which features online gaming and is to be held at Birmingham in March. The unannounced game is meant to be scheduled for a release in 2008, which is why they'll be showing a fully playable version for the very first time at this event. | |
