UK's PC Gamer mag has the goods on THQ's Warhammer 40K MMO

The game still being years away doesn't seem all that shy and it’s certainly a RPG at heart but with focus strongly toward action-packed fire fights.

Creative director Joe Madureira assures PC Gamer that all important races to the lore "will be represented." The MMORPG is being handled by THQ's Vigil Studios.

The publisher has decided to close down the Birmingham studio; it released SEGA Rally for Xbox360, PS3 and PC last year to good reception. Unfortunately it didn't make too big a splash.

SEGA Racing Studios employed 60 people and had a numbered of unannounced projects being worked over.

EA renew license deal with Epic, Unreal Engine 4 "many years away"

Electronic Arts have signed a new license deal with Epic Games that lets them use the Unreal Engine 3 for another five projects. Mark Rein, big boss at Epic, says that the next iteration of the engine won't be released until the next generation of consoles.

EA has used UE3 in recent projects like Army of Two. Most major publishing houses have licensed the Unreal Engine technology to help reduce development costs.

Recently MTV news has claimed to have been contacted by an 'anonymous development source', who has vaguely outlined the software giant’s plan to challenge the Wii-mote.

Not only that but the claim goes on to suggest that the new Xbox360 controller will go on sale this year. MTV say that Rare is developing an avatar system similar to Mii avatars too.

A 12 page preview from US mag Game Informer tells all, Epic's Gears of War 2 is an Xbo360 exclusive that'll hit stores this November.

Drop-in co-op play, more expansive campaign, more weapons, more collectibles, more back-story, more characters, more Locust, less linear battles and even more action. Now that's a sequel.
