Duke Nuken 3D hitting Xbox Live Arcade soon?

3D realms have often said that they would like to develop an Xbox Live Arcade version of Duke Nukem 3D, so the decision was left to Microsoft but now it seems that we may actually see Duke Nukem on our 360 screens, and within a few months.

According to sources close to 3D realms, Duke Nukem 3D is scheduled to debut on Xbox Live within the next several months. They say that it'll feature a four-player online co-op mode, along with an eight-player online deathmatch mode.

Turok single-player Demo available on Xbox Live Marketplace

The Xbox Live Marketplace has been updated this morning with a new single-player demo for Turok which is available in most countries apart from Japan and Korea.

Turok is an epic, story-driven first-person shooter set on a dark, mysterious planet in the future. Players take on the role of Joseph Turok, a former black ops commando, now part of an elite special forces squad, known as Whiskey Company, which is on a mission to take down a war criminal – Turok’s former mentor, Roland Kane. While Whiskey Company is traveling to the genetically altered planet inhabited by Kane and his soldiers, Whiskey Company’s ship is shot down.

Boogie Bunnies bounces to Xbox Live on Wednesday

This weeks Xbox Live Arcade release will be Boogie Bunnies, it's available on Wednesday and is a 3D puzzle game from Sierra Online.

Microsoft describe it as: “an imaginative color matching 3D puzzle game from Sierra Online, players must use their wits to keep a herd of bunnies out of danger. “Boogie Bunnies” transports players to exotic locations where they complete extensive chain puzzles to trigger funky bunny dances. The game features Classic, Arcade or Endless game modes that players can join in for some furry fun either online or offline in two-player cooperative and competitive modes that the entire family will enjoy.”

Relic Entertainment brings you the demo of their upcoming expansion pack for Dawn of War. Soulstorm adds 2 new races to the game, the Dark Eldar and the Sisters of Battle. It also adds aerial units to the game, finally. The expansion is slated for release in early March.

New PS3 Bundle entitled "Pick N Mix"

Sony is set to launch a new bundle pack for the PlayStation 3 this Friday, reports GamesIndustry.biz.

The Bundle is said to retail for £349.99 GBP and will allow consumers to selected two games from a list of first-party titles, which includes some top titles such as Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Folklore, Heavenly Sword, Singstar and many others. It'll also come with a 40GB hard drive which is normally priced at £299.99. This isn't a huge bargain, but you do get two games on the cheap so it's worth going for if you're planning on purchasing a PS3.

Gas Powered Games have released the 1.1.320 patch for Supreme Commander. This patch does one thing only: adds compatibility for amBX support. For those unaware, amBX (ambient experiences) provides a way to enhance your audio-visual experience through the use of external devices such as a rumble generator and fans. This patch comes in two flavors: one that updates you 1.0.3189 game, and the other that updates your 1.1.3269 game version. Go directly to the downloads page to get the patch if amBX interests you.

Codemasters to reveal next MMO at Connect 2008

Codemasters Online announced this morning that they plan to reveal their new MMO game at an upcoming event called Connect 2008 which features online gaming and is to be held at Birmingham in March.

The unannounced game is meant to be scheduled for a release in 2008, which is why they'll be showing a fully playable version for the very first time at this event.

Play PC games on your PS3

StreamMyGame.com announced this morning that it released its free Linux player, an application that will allow PC users to play their games on any PlayStation 3 that is running Linux.

The StreamMyGame server enables PC games to be played remotely by coverting the game's video and audio into a game stream and sending it over a home network to a second comptuer where you can view and play the game with the StreamMyGame application. The second computer can be a Laptop, PS3, PC or Linux device. We're told that the game can be played on the second computer without any lag and the second computer does not need to have the game installed.
