According to the Japanese Magazine Famitsu, Blue Dragon 2 is currently in production by Microsoft and Mistwalker even knowing the first title is yet to be released.
Microsoft must have high hopes for the series if they do plan on starting production on the second already. There hasn't been many details released for Blue Dragon 2 but we'll be sure to keep you posted if we hear anything.
