Told you so!
History
The Ofnir Squadron is the Belkan Air Force 6th Air Division, 5th Tactical Fighter Squadron. This squadron, unlike the Grabacr, was formed during the Circum-Pacific War between Osea and Yuktobania. While the Grabacr Squadron was operating deep within the Osean Air Defense Force, a second group of pilots had secretly been brought together by “The Grey Men”. The Ofnir Squadron was to commence operations exactly as the Grabacr did, but in Yuktobania.
The Ofnir's Flight Leader, Michael Heimeroth, was once a Belkan Ace from The Belkan War in 1995. He joined the Yuktobanian Air Force and soon was embedded. He and his unit were then called upon secretly by Belkan Operatives to help keep the war going.
They were first discovered by the “Razgriz”, deep within Belkan Territory; next to the mine where the Belkan Nuclear weapons were stored. Afterwards they disappeared. They were sighted once again in Yuktobanian Air Space as the Razgriz engaged them at High Speeds in a canyon. Though the Ofnir Pilots were shot down, they had all ejected.
The Ofnir Squadron was sighted once again as the SOLG fell towards the Osean city of Oured. The Grabacr and Ofnir squadrons made their last stand here. As the SOLG fell, the Ofnir Squadron was shot down and none ejected. This was their last official action.
Ofnir One - Michael Heimeroth
Nationality: Belkan
Served in the 6th Air Division, 5th Tactical Fighter Sqaudron of the Belkan Air Force, during the Belkan War. A gradute of the Kellerman Institution, even as a Rookie he managed to shoot down 25 Allied planes. After the war he joined the Yuktobanian Air Force under orders from the Grey Men. Died December 31st, 2010, near Oured, Osea when his plane was shot down by the Razgriz.
