Lunar: Dragon Song takes players 1,000 years before the first game of the Lunar series, Lunar: The Silver Star. The world of Lunar is at peace under the protection of the goddess Althena, creator of Lunar. At the fringes of this peaceful existence, vicious demons have started to slowly invade, and few know how to deal with this demon invasion. Jian, a human boy, and his group of friends unravel the evil plot being laid against Althena and discover that they alone can save Lunar from the forces of evil.

With more than 30 hours of gameplay, Lunar: Dragon Song gives you a choice before you go into combat. Choosing Combat means that monsters will drop items in battle. Picking Virtue, on the other hand, lets you gain experience points. Virtue battles also yield special blue treasure chests. Players must battle the forces of evil by transforming Dark enemy creatures into Beings of Light.

Find different Battle Cards during your quest to alter the abilities and powers of members in your party. Then you're able to share rare and unique items via wireless LAN.

Lunar: Dragon Song lets you move around the map by simply tapping a point on the touch screen. Battles in the game use both screens to show grounded and airborn enemies. The game also feature controls dictated to the built-in microphone.
