Cypron Studios announced that they are currently developing a new Real-time strategy game for the DS called Command and Destroy. It's a classic RTS game which is influenced by Dune 2, Red Alert, KknD and Starcraft.

Firaxis and 2K Games announced that they would be developing a Wii version of its upcoming RTS Civilization Revolution which is also going to be released on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo DS. But IGN has been told that the Wii version was put on hold because the company wants to concentrate on the other versions to ensure that they make the best possible civilization experience yet.

The 2K Games spokesperson said: “Development for the Wii version of Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution is currently on hold, we are focusing our attention on creating the best possible Civilization experience for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Nintendo DS platforms."

We've published 17 new screenshots for Populous, which is in development by EA Games and is currently in development for the Nintendo DS.

Nintendo of America has released a huge list that contains release dates for their upcoming Wii and DS games as well as some third party ones that are currently in development. These dates aren't for the European version, unfortunately for us they are US dates but they should give us a good idea of when they are nearing release in the UK.

We would like to point out some of our favorite ones on this list for the Wii, Alone in the Dark is coming in March from Atari, Mario Kart Wii with Wii Wheel from Nintendo are set to arrive in spring and LucasArts LEGO: Indiana Jones is also set for a release in spring whilst Star Wars: The Force Unleashed will be hitting stores in the summer.
