Ryse is Crytek's Roman gorefest where the might of the empire hacks and slashes its enemies into bloodied stumps. There's one issue though - QTEs - and how apparently you can't even fail them.

Bethesda had a press only presentation behind closed doors at E3 last week, and apparently it was Fallout 4. It's alleged to be coming to Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One, PS4 and PC in October 2015 - it's 55% done?
It's been in development since January 2011 by a small dev team, according to leaks. Skyrim's development ending beefed up the Fallout 4 effort. A 37 second trailer was shown to attendees.

BioWare Montreal is working on the next game in the Mass Effect series, according to studio director Yannick Roy on Twitter, it'll be "borrowing" many game systems from Dragon Age: Inquisition.

Runic Games' action-RPG Torchlight is entirely free of charge via GOG.com as part of their 2013 #NoDRM Summer Sale, where over 500 titles with no DRM are "at least 50% off" for over two weeks.

Amplitude Studios has announced June 26th is day for Disharmony. The first official expansion adds a new faction, as well as Automaton ship models as "a gift to the community for being so awesome."

It's stress test time for Battlefield 4 as DICE send out a number of alpha invite emails to select players. The purpose is to put their server infrastructure through the wringer, and not to test gameplay exactly.
In fact a lot of texture will be pure white, except for soldiers and vehicles. DICE also warn alpha testers of "potentially choppy" frame rates. Also expect lag and downtime as routine.
