Quickfire Competition: Tron Gaming Pads [FINISHED]

And the winners are...

So I know some of you were getting a little bit inpatient, well we couldn't end this competition until the next one was ready... which it is! So, without further ado, the winners of the TRON Gaming Pads are:

So, I know it's been a while since we had a competition, well hopefully the next few weeks will satiate your never-ending need for free gaming related stuff. Now, due to the amount of time and effort that goes into competitions, we usually run one at a time but we've somehow managed to accumulate so much stuff it would take too long to get it all out.

So, we're going to experiment! Yay! This will be a 'quickfire' competition, so it will only last until next week, so make sure

The Prize

So, what do we have you for today? Only some Tron themed gaming pads! These work on both PC and PS3, so if you've always wanted to try out a game pad on your PC, or just looking for something unique to go with your PS3, you'll be wanting one of these. There's five in total.

Now notice that it's not Tron: Evolution themed, just Tron: Legacy themed, so don't worry about it being tied to the videogame or anything. As much as I enjoyed that game, it was a little bit flawed, but this nifty little accessory is ready rock and roll with all of your games.


Hmm... I might have to steal one for myself.

The Competition

We'll keep it short and simple this time around - post below saying "I'm in", so we know who to keep an eye on, and then simply be active! Commenting, uploading, blogging, more commenting... maybe get me a cup of tea whilst you're there?

We'll pick winners sometime next week, I can't be more specific than that because it actually depends on something that I won't find out until next week, but that shouldn't stop you from doing all you can over the weekend.

@unsilviu: mostly, although we do try to promote the other things that can garner activity points - blogging, uploading photos or files, user reviews...

But yes, you get into the obtrusive spamming area of activity and that's it, you're out.

Tron: Legacy is a fun film, and is ok apart from the very end which is a bit "er.. what?". But yeah, don't expect to have your mind blown or anything, but it's definitely a film worth watching, even if you've never seen the original.

Man - I'm seriously sad right now. Came home, had a good feeling had wine to dinner and son and wife were on a great mood - fired up STEAM when they went to bed - got Homefront started after some problems. After 30 minutes I close down Homefront - sitting here swearing my lungs out... :( Homefront is not a good game. The MP might be fun but the SP game just made me sad and reluctant to face the truth I paid 49€ for that piece of...... grrrr

There is also the issue that some agencies that give us the prizes are only "responsible" for certain territories. Hence the reason of most of the restrictions. We're still happy to get any such opportunities of course. But yeah, the down sides are obvious heh. Sorry guys!

Hope you will receive yours soon guys. For me, I had a try at using it with Left 4 dead (that one works pretty decent with the Xbox controller) but this controller made a mess of the controlls and you couldn't rebound it in the config - as far as I looked...
Worked better in Shank and Street Fighter IV. I will try it out on the PS3 next. :)

I've received my first prize on SI (King Arthur & Armada bundle), but I'm still waiting for the Top Spin 4. Though, the competition ended only recently, so I guess I should wait for a week more until I start to worry :)

Yeah, I never had any problems with Amazon deliveries by various courier services. The guy at the mail must be getting really rich with all the "missing" stuff...:(

I have all those things yeah, the Tshirt, the Figurine and the Long decayed Xbox Plate. I received a letter from codemasters a week later saying they would ship the game.. until today.. Nothing.. I'm like Fry's dog on futurama.. I waited..
