COMPETITION: Alan Wake 'Special' PC Edition

If I should die before I wake... better hope my name's not Alan. As a belated celebration for both the Alan Wake PC edition, and Alan Wake: American Nightmare, we've teamed up with Microsoft and Remedy to offer you the chance to win a 'Special' Alan Wake copy.


The Prize

1x Alan Wake 'Special' Edition (PC)

If anyone is interested, the 'Special' edition includes the following:

- Premium packaging
- Disc 1: Main game plus both DLCs The Signal and The Writer
- Disc 2: OST of the game including 13 Tracks (Audio-CD)
- 6 Post cards with different pictures/scenes from the game
- Manual
- 1 poster (printed on both sides)
- 7 stickers with different pictures/scenes/characters from the game

The Competition

Step One: Post below saying "I'm In"

Step Two: ?

Step Three: Profit.

Once the competition period has expired, we'll pick a winner from random and PM them a question. They have 24 hours to respond, otherwise they've forfeited their chance and we'll pick someone else. If they get the question right, they win, if not, then again we'll pick someone else. We'll reveal the question in the PM.

The Rules

* This is a physical, boxed copy of the game, so we're once again restricting entry to US & EU residents only.

* One Entry per person

* If you won in the last competition, you can't enter into this one.

Standard two week period applies, so we'll be closing this competition on Wednesday April 4th. Good luck, and keep that torch with you at all times!

I ended it too soon. Oh sorry guys. Fortunately there weren't too many applications. Sheh. I have some date problems on my comp. It keeps jumping me back a day every here and there...

Well as long as Foolwolf is thrown into the hat and given another chance in case he doesn't see the notification in time then it should not be a problem for anyone.

It would be kinda unfair to him otherwise, i think.

I know but this is an exception as the drawing was supposed to be on a different day and he /might/ be expecting to log-in then.

I don't think putting him back in the hat would hurt anyone, it would only mean that the drawing happened at the correct time with everyone that entered - as if nothing had happened.

Thanks nocutius - I hope so - since my first sceptical approach to AW - I have read nothing but good of the PC version so I'm swinging around on this one... I may be old, but not old enough to change my mind ;)

I am In shame to tell, but I still have that normal wow game I won back when Cata launched. Someone else bought it for me the day before my copy arrived! So, yeah, I had to use one, because I couldn't return the other.. Want it back? I would have no trouble sending it to UK again :D

Ahhh, not me for obvious reasons but it's worth creating a new competition page Kres as this is one excellent title. Sure to attract some more "one time onl" members, but the more that visit the more likely they might stay.
Ps. As I said in my PM - feel free to hold a comp for EU and US-only in May/June as I will be over there and so technically a European:)
....the lengths an Aussie has to go to to get into Si comps.....D

Just wanted to tell you all that I now have Alan Wake in my hand and I'm looking forward to play it. The game though has had some serious buggy troubles with graphics and such. I'm on a factory OC card - and AW don't like OC cards - one bit it seems.
I am downloading latest patch and keep you all informed of my experience with AW.

Once more - thanks for the price SI guys! :D
