| Say hi to the mailman |
Play minigames and earn the respect of other party animals on the Barnyard |
The game is about a cow, which recently moved into the Barnyard. As the new cow on the block, he tries to mingle with the rest of the animals in all things that they do.
He joins quests, games and any other activity in order to blend well. The cow really has to be hip and happening being the new kid on the block, well new cow on the block. Whichever you call it, he is new and trying to impress the rest. This is what you have to keep in mind as you play this game.
In this three-dimensional fantasy world, you play as the cow and live your life with other cows, chickens and other livestock that you have seen in the movie.
Just like a teenager moving into a new environment, you want to blend in and form alliances with your fellow animals. You therefore live the life of the cow in the movie and interact with your favorite Barnyard animals.
You will play minigames and take part on quests where you may earn gopher bucks and spend the same at stores on gophers hill. Of course, you will not be able to spend any if you do not win in any of those minigames. You therefore need to be good in tackling challengers including games and the must collect items you may find around the barn.
Living the life in the barnyard of course is not all chatting and playing games; you will also need to protect the barnyard against raccoons and coyotes.
Your friend will likewise give you additional excitement as you live your life side by side with them. One specific friend you need to keep your mind about is your chicken friend, Peck. He dreams of flying and thus will play games as often as he would, where you will need to launch him in a slingshot so he can sail across the farm. You may take part on this as well if you wish.
Teenagers’ life is what you live in the barnyard, you may take rides on a bike and do stunts while joyriding with your barnyard friends.
As mentioned earlier, you will need to tackle minigames and the challenges may vary. Of course, winning is necessary but I tell you the games are straightforward, not simple but not too much hard as well.
Some missions are too exciting to leave but some missions may likewise be less likable. However, this may be redeemed by the soundtrack execution. It gives gaming some necessary excitement because in addition to the soundtrack, the audio execution gives clear understanding of what is happening by giving you the same sound you will hear in the movie. This includes the wind blows, chirping birds, and the sound of waves coming from the river.
The game play is exciting especially to younger gamers and the sound including the graphics execution may not be given a negative score. Barnyard gaming experience is something that will keep you wanting to play more and more.
This is an easy game to familiarize but it is not something you would like to drop after a couple of hours of playing time. Just like the movie version, this game will keep you awake during your long hours of playing.
This game is available online and you may play it with four other players. You will surely find one to play with among your friends or even other players on the cyberspace.
Like any other game, Barnyard may still have some improvements to help boost its game play. Barnyard lacks the game pad support were many players gets frustrated not finding them. Some minor issues may be found by adult players but young ones will surely love it and not complain at all. I therefore take my mind off whatever issues my friends complain about, because I want to look at this game like a 10 year old.
Nevertheless, this game is specifically designed without this game pad support, it is therefore something that younger do not look for unlike adult players who continually seek the support for easier game play.
The game play is fine as it is. I loved playing it even with those pixel issues, whatever that is. My friends often complained about it.
I love playing with those 10 years old players rather than those adult players. This is because I find adult players complain a lot about this youngster’s game.
Because I love the movie Barnyard, thus I love this game as well. I do not look for any other issues, I just go about playing it.
Top of game moment: I love spending my gopher’s bucks to upgrade my bike and put decorations around the barn. Is this not something teenagers love doing? Well, may be not for the barnyard but on their get up. I love decorating myself when I was young, so buying stuff on gopher’s hill is lovable.
