Night Watch

Night Watch(PC): Stay away, if at all possible.

There are many reasons to stay away from this game, but most of all, it is simply lacking amusement. It's just not spectacular, original, or entertaining in any way. I found myself playing it for the slightly appealing storyline, almost like a book... Read More

Doom 3

Doom 3(PC): TOO Good.

Honestly, when a game succeeds in scaring you so much that you refuse to play it in the dark if the sound is on, that game has WON. At the pinnacle of the first-person "twitch" shooters (FPS games where things jump out, ambush, and basically your survival... Read More

Age of Empires...

Age of Empires II: Age of Kings(PC): Excellent.

With great graphics, an excellent combat engine, and a wide variety of units, it's tough to not give this game a 10. But the slightly lacking storyline, and the fact that I can beat anyone if I get access to the native peoples lowers my scores on this... Read More

Heroes of Might and Magic V(PC): Graphic Intensive.

For all you dual-core pentium 900 billion gamers out there with 133t computers, this game will run fine. Heck, if you have a gaming computer at all, you'll be ok. I found that after three months (of in-game time... approx 1 hour of realtime) the game... Read More

Heroes of Might...

Heroes of Might and Magic IV(PC): Hmm.

While still an awesome game, I found the new killable hero system annoying. At high levels, your hero is nigh invincible, while for the first 15 levels or so, you'll spend most of your time hiding your hero behind other troops so he/she won't be shot... Read More

Heroes of Might...

Heroes of Might and Magic III(PC): Classic.

If you've EVER been into turn-based strategy games, this IS the game for you. Heroes IV is lacking a certain classic feel, and while both it and heroes V rock, heroes 2 and 3 are quite simply classic.

Prince of Persia:...

Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones(PC):

I rate the game this high, simply because of the combat options. Battling on flat ground, you have maybe 50 (for a full 3D fighting game, this is quite a lot) combat options (slashes, comboes, backstabs, special "Sands of Time" magic, quadruple flips... Read More

Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne(PC): It's all about the online.

The map editor may seem tough to use, but there are enough wizkids out there like IDARK/LDARK (same guy) and Enfo and Zoator to keep us all entertained for eternity. New online rpgs, Tower Defenses, and strategy games are made every day. The campaign... Read More

Warlords Battlecry III(PC):

The levelling system is simply great. So many classes, so many spells, so much pwnage. For an rpg/rts fan, this is your game. Honestly, the graphics are better than a 7 easily. The original was better in my mind. More original, better systems, better... Read More
