Glacian's greeting message
Hello everyone! I'm Jason and I'm a hardcore gamer. I play all sorts of games, but RPGs and RTS are my favorites. I mostly play console games, but you'll find me playing the occasional PC game too, like Starcraft or Battle for Middle Earth II.
I only recently discovered Strategy Informer, and even more recently began contributing. I'm also the Managing Editor of Just RPG (http://www.just-rpg.com).

I'm currently in San Francisco and just left a Microsoft Games for Windows event. It was lots of fun.
I got to play some of Age of Conan, Hellgate London, Crysis and Supreme Commander (just to name a few). They all looked pretty solid.
Hellgate London was my fav of the event, and I was given a personal wlakthrough by Bill Roper. It looks like it has a lot of potential, and will appeal to RPG fans.
Supreme Commander was a mixed bag. It seems like a strategically deep game, however it was very confusing and overwhelming to sit down and play. If I had several hours to dedicate to the game and an instruction manual, then I might have been fine. But as it was, I found it confusing.
Anyway, that is all for now.
I'm stupid. For MONTHS I've been thinking my account wasn't working. Then I realized I'd been entering the wrong info. Man, I suck. I guess that's what happens when you spend too much time on the computer.
Anyway, I recently was awarded as a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional in the PC Games category. See my page here:

I've been bouncing around with a couple of games, including Rogue Galaxy on PS2. My PS2 is getting old and doesn't get along very well with the early version of the game I received. Other than that, I've been playing a bit of NBA Live 2007, Online Chess Kingdoms, and Ninety Nine Nights.
I'm not much of a blogger, so this is pretty much a first for me.
Anyway, I'm new to the site, but definately not new to gaming journalism. There are a few other sites I occasionally contribute to, most notably Just RPG (http://www.just-rpg.com).
I love RTS games, but RPGs are my favorite. Star Wars: KNights of the Old Republic is one of my favorite games, along with Final Fantasy IX, Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and Vagrant Story. I'm also a HUGE Starcraft fan.
Currently I'm playing several different games, including X-Men: The Official Game and Druids: Battle of Magic.
