I was just wondering how many games did you play from our Top 10 games charts on the front page (right sidebar)?

By my count, I've played 4 of them (I've counted 2 for Dragon Age since it shows for 2 platforms), so barely 40% of them...

Which layout do you prefer more?

Of course, we will need to put a Google text ad in some inconvenient spot on the new layout, but such is life...

Does anybody like checking traffic stats for games? Traffic charts graphics that we have on main HQ pages and somewhere in the sidebar.

I'm wondering if anybody know what I'm talking about at all? :)

Thinking about losing them in the new design.

I tend to personally look at them sometimes, but I think it's mostly coincidental.

Well, we've been working on a new layout for our game pages on SI. This is what we got atm:

So:

1. Game menu moved to the left vertical menu
2. Top mods, maps and authors added to the left menu bottom
3. Media highlights in the right side bar with screenshots main thumb and 2 small video thumbs (would show 2 top videos for the game)
4. Related game news in the right sidebar along with global news. Only 3 pieces per bit

Now I may be going a bit freaky but what do you think if we show members reviews of the game right there in the sidebar with a bit of text from the review. Now what's unique and revolutionary about the idea is to ONLY show members reviews from SI Core, SI Elite and SI Herodotus (top ranked member) ranks. Now, if we make such an open feature for our higher ranked members, do you guys think you would post those reviews more oftenly? Since there are a limited number of such high tier members. So we may be building that feature in vain. Eg, if we can't expect a decent sum of reviews, it would just look empty and it would be in vain. Thoughts?
