Anyone here play Mount&Blade?

And the speciffically, the mod called Mount&Musket? (If you don't, I can't recommend it highly enough btw.)

If any of the people here do, you are hereby invited to join the 16te Westphalen infantry regiment. Great people, great fun and plenty of musket-y action :P

This totally isn't a transparant recruiting attempt btw.

First of all, if you're not familiar with the game I can't recommend it highly enough, at least worth a try (they have a free demo on taleworlds.com)

Speciffically I'm looking for people playing the MOD called Mount&Musket. One of the best mods I've played in a long time, the name pretty much tells you what it's about, musket warfare (think Napoleon). All mods can be found on the Taleworlds forums if you're interested.

Well if you DO play M&M, you are hereby invited to join my regiment! Yay! (sort of like a clan)
If anyone's interested, send me a PM or something and I'll hook you up with the details.

I gave the "M&B: With Fire and Sword" demo a shot, but the FP perspective fighting on horseback, for me actually dissuaded me from getting the bundle. I know the Mods available are great but I might just be over the whole Medieval period right now. Played "Stronghold", "MTW", "M2TW" (with "Shining Steel" and The Third Age" Mods) and many more. Now it's just not interesting any more.
Perhaps if the "M&B: Collection" goes on sale over Chrissie on Steam I might get it. Never no, it might draw me back into the sword and sandal world.

FP perspective on horseback? Are you insane? that is a option no one ever uses. ANyway, Warband is much better than F&S.

Also you mean Stainless steel, which is awesome.

Don't know where I got "Shining Steel" from....must have been a dubious video I watched once:)
So if FP isn't how you play, how do you play? Forget it, I'll download the Warband Demo and have a look-see.
I also have the soundtracks to the "M&B" titles (legitimately). I posted the link once here for them, so I'll try and find it again.

Well if it aint first person then it's third person, obviously. Everyone plays in third person, FP is practically impossible in melee. Only ranged guys use it on occasion and even then most stick to TP.

Can the Warband demo play online at all? I would suspect not.

No it doesn't.
Btw, I knew the other otion to FP would be TP or OTS, but I wondered if there might be a stratgey option. Additionally, where would I go to upgrade my bow to an assault rifle and then get my uranium-tipped bullets? And where are the tanks.....looked everywhere:)

Buy game, go to mod forum, download WWII mod for automatic guns.
