Black Bean Games announced that their main title for 2007 will be SBK-07 Superbike World Championship. The game will be made available for the Xbox 360, PS2, PSP, PC and will be released in April 2007.
All the official teams, 22 bikes and 22 riders on track at the same time each with individual characteristics will be fighting for pole position in 4 game modes: Quick Race, Race Weekend, Championship and Challenges.
We wondered why the game wouldn’t be making an appearance on the PlayStation 3 or Wii so we put the question forward to Black Bean and they gave us this statement:
“To approach the next-generation consoles we choose the X360, as its features are similar to the pc, but we are going to be evaluating the possibility of developing a PlayStation 3 and Wii version of the game within the next few weeks.”
We’ll be keeping in contact with Black Bean to see what decisions they make on this matter so don’t go ruling out a PS3 or Wii version yet.
Stay tuned!
