Nintendo has denied the recent reports that the company has stopped all support and production for the Gamecube. Several sites on the internet claimed that Nintendo had confirmed the end of the machine but it now appears that was false.
A spokesperson for Nintendo UK told Eurogamer; “I can confirm that globally, Nintendo is still continuing production of GameCube hardware and GameCube software."
The Gamecube hasn’t seen many announcements as of late but this news does reveal Nintendo still supports the system and is making sure they are still available to purchase.
