Download DirectX 10 for Windows XP
posted on 08/05/2009 13:02

First of all is this really possiable? Maybe with nvidia 8+ series cards or ATI directX10 compatable cards running Xp 64 bit, but XP 32 bit Hummmmm? I found these old posts and read all of the posts peeps left, some say it didn't work other say it does? Will I be the one to test it? "NOPE" Maybe i'll take one of my old comps put VS2007 and sdk and try it out. I went to micros website and there's nothing! Except for them saying it can not be done. Anyone know the real story behind these claims to fame? Here's some sites making that claim. "Users Beware though" I remember years back hearing about this but a buddy told me it was b.s. so I dropped it. I hate to dig up old graves but what the hell why not!

I'm just wondering why the links don't work on certain post/blogs it seems. I've made many post where it doesn't allow you to click the link. And on some posted it does? I've even tried to write HTML code but still not working?

Super!

I'm so excetied I've been wondering for 20 years if they where going to make a new Tron. It's about freaking time. This movie is bound to break some box office records.

Console System Stats virses PC Gaming Stats

2 thumbs up

I am doing this to show the mass'es, why a PC computer is better to own and play on than a console system. I hope to bring to light why this console outbreak is a shamm. Also i'm not going to into drive, options, dvd/cd, USB, and other I/O systems. Why beacue PC's own that market and it would be redundent to show all those features.

First lets start with a (Wii)

CPU: IBM PowerPC-based[2] "Broadway 729 MHz, "Built in 1991"

GPU: ATI-provided "Hollywood" reportedly clocks at 243 MHz
It is not known how many pixel pipelines or shader units Hollywood possesses "Go figure"

Ram: 88 MB main memory (24 MB "internal" 1T-SRAM integrated into graphics package, 64 MB "external" GDDR3 SDRAM)
3 MB embedded GPU texture memory and framebuffer
Memory storage: 512 MB built-in NAND flash memory

I wonder why Nin and ATI are so tight lipped about this? The don't want you looking at spec's! That's like buying a car without knowing how fast it goes, Horsepower, gas milage, etc.

(Sony's PlayStation 3)

CPU: 3.2 GHz Cell Broadband

GPU: 550 MHz NVIDIA/SCEI RSX 'Reality Synthesizer' a total of 256MB of on-GPU memory same architecture family responsible for the GeForce 7800 series GPU. that's funny I always heard it was in the 8800 family.

Ram: Four 512Mbit GDDR3 DRAM, 256MB of Samsung XDR DRAM composes of the system's main memory.a single 128MB Samsung NAND

Here's a link to get more info and the complete breakdown of the unit

(Microsofts Xbox 360)

CPU: 3.2 GHz PowerPC Tri-Core Xenon

GPU: 500 MHz ATI Xenos, 10 MB embedded DRAM,
48-way parallel floating-point dynamically-scheduled shader pipelines,
Unified shader architecture.

Ram: 512 MB GDDR3 RAM, 700 MHz DDR, Unified memory architecture

(Alienware)
System Specifications:
Just go to the site I don't need to say more, you'll just have to see it for yourself.

P.S. If you own a PC and never looked at the spec's for one of these try not to cry to much!
