Kalypso Media, best known for publishing such titles as Tropico 3, Disciples III and Patrician IV, have announced they'll be distributing Russian developer Lesta Studio's military RTS Elements of War in March 2011.

In a press release email from Kalyso, they described Elements of War as a real-time strategy game unlike any other – where armies manipulate the forces of nature to rain down destruction on their foes or gain a tactical advantage by transforming the battlefield with hurricanes, tornadoes and earthquakes. Players will battle across the United States in this futuristic title, which features dozens of real-world and unconventional units.

The game seems to play on an extreme tactical scale, where such details as suburban homes with cars parked in the driveway are part of the battlefield, or corpses strewn along a street with detailed casual outfits. The weather effects seem to be as similarly detailed.
