For those of you who think the Kinect camera is a little too boring, DS Styles has started selling one with plenty of bling-bling on it.

The jewelry company is offering a Kinect encrusted with over 5,000 genuine Swarovski crystals, for the low, low price of $631. It even triples as a flashy necklace, or a makeshift disco ball. The owner of this Kinect will have the most pimped out camera for Dance Central, no doubt.

Two things I loathe about this, right off the bat:
1/ Kinect - an expensive fad that will pass
2/ Rapping - an obtrusive fad that was supposed to pass, but unfortuantely has now seeped from the streets of the USA and insidiously invaded all respectable cultures. It is not art, it is not poetry, and this comning from a guy who bought the first rap single back in whenever ("Rapper's Delight").
Now, back to listening to James Taylor, or perhaps The White Stripes: XDXD
