THQ may use new pricing plan on more games

THQ's core games boss Danny Bilson is hinting that the special budget-minded pricing that THQ will be using for MX vs. ATV: Alive in North America may be used for other games from the company in more regions.

The experimental pricing plan is that the game itself will be selling for $39.99 USD, but has a great deal of free and charged DLC. The lower MSRP for the game is a part of THQ president Brian Farrell's way of combating his belief that the current $59.99 USD price for games is artificially inflated and "keeping people out".

While it's still unconfirmed that THQ will be doing this for another game, there's a belief that the next title to receive this treatment will be one of THQ's licensed ring games like UFC Disputed or WWE Smackdown vs. Raw.

MX vs. ATV: Alive will be officially unveiled at the official site on January 18.
