Activision has announced in a press release that they’re so pleased with second party developer Beenox’s work on Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions that they’re going to have them develop more Spider-Man titles for them.

Dee Brown, the studio head of Beenox beamed: "We are thrilled with this opportunity to continue our close, collaborative relationship with Activision, Marvel and everyone’s friendly, neighborhood hero, Spider-Man. Being able to map out Spider-Man’s interactive future gives us the creative freedom to really craft the best gaming experience for the fans."

The press release also mentions that Shattered Dimensions was Wizard Magazine’s Game of the Year, which prompts the question: Wizard is still around?

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions was a good game, not as good as Bataman Arkham Asylum but good, this is the proof that good games can be done from the legacy of super heroes franchise.
