Oblivion's TESCK modding kit
Those of you who are hoping for mods for the PC version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, you can now rejoice, as the modding tools have been confirmed.

Games Banshee is reporting that Bethesda's Pete Hines made a short and welcome announcement on his Facebook wall this morning confirming that modding on the PC version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will be supported, stating, "Yes, as with past TES games, we will release a kit to mod Skyrim for PC. It's called the Creation Kit."

Feel free to celebrate, PC roleplaying gamers.

The ability to mod the game is the whole reason why I got the PC version of Oblivion, and it will be the reason why I get the PC version of Skyrim. Sure I'll have to spend approx £150 to upgrade my computer but for a game like Skyrim, even spending something like £200 will probably be worth it.
