Creative Assembly's Total War: Shogun 2 slowly edges closer and so publisher SEGA has announced what pre-order bonuses there are to grab.

On offer is the 'Historic Battle of Kawagoe' scenario which involves a "night time counter-attack" against besieging forces, and in-game currency.

Shop at GameStop, either in-store or online, and you get the battle scenario. "Set in 1545, the Battle of Kawagoe saw the Hõjõ clan launch a successful night time counter-attack against the besieging Uesugi, eschewing heavy armor and the collection of heads in favor of speed and stealth," revealed the press release.

However put down your cash at Best Buy, in-store only, and you get some in-game monies in return. "Player’s campaigns will begin with 1,000 Koku, allowing them to purchase new buildings, train new units and upgrade their towns."

Total War: Shogun 2 releases exclusively on PC March 15th.

I like the pre-order bonuses CA offer, even if many become available as DLC later down tghe line, but the asking price of $170 for the CE here in Australia is crazy too much.
