For console owners worrying what CD Projekt RED's The Witcher 2 is going to run like, fear not, because it's been geared up with "console in mind".
Its user interface is friendly to the console crowd, meaning you can play with joypads on the PC version. The sequel doesn't punish newcomers to the IP.
"In the end we decided not to do it outsourced. We've been running some tests, and putting a small part of the game just to make sure we're not cheating anyone," said CD Projekt, referring to the console versions of The Witcher 2.
"You can play The Witcher 2 with joypad - it's implemented. The whole interface is designed with console in mind, in fact." That good news for those who enjoy Two Worlds II style of controller pad antics over keyboard and mouse - some just play better that way.
The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings releases on PC May 17th, and on Xbox 360 and PS3 at a later date. Are you looking forward to the return of Geralt the White Wolf?
