Publisher Namco Bandai has had a good past nine months this fiscal year as they report operating earnings skyrocketed up 253 percent from 2010.

Tekken 6 was a major driving force as it cleared 1 million copies sold, with Ben 10: Ultimate Alien the closest behind that at 490k. PS3 best performer.

Namco had sales of 288,030 million yen the nine months ending December 31st, which is up 1.8 percent from the previous fiscal. Operating earnings rose 253 percent to 16,616 million yen. Tekken 6 was the undisputed lead title for Namco at 1.08 million sold.

The PlayStation 3 platform sold the most Namco wares with 3.7 million as they released 9 titles for it. That was followed by Nintendo DS with 3.4 million and 25 titles. Xbox 360 managed a mighty respectable 1.595 million with just one title released.

God Eater Burst cleared 460k copies domestically in Japan for PSP. Sadly the much lauded Enslaved from Ninja Theory managed only 460k sold around the globe.
