Kings and Castles put on hold

Gas Powered Games' latest real time strategy game, Kings and Castles, has been put on hold indefinitely.

When asked by Big Download about the game being put on hiatus, lead developer Chris Taylor vaguely replied, "Well... We've put the project on hold for now, but the moment I know more I will let you know...I can't go into those details just yet... let's call it a 'timing' thing..."

Kings and Castles is a tongue-and-cheek real time strategy game for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 which puts the player in the role of a king, building and developing his realm and defending it against two rival kings.

The last video was posted in October of last year, when Taylor stated that the videos would be put on hold as the final production push on the game went into full swing.

Too bad. This looks like a spiritual successor of Total Annihilation Kingdoms. Graphics looks like it was done in Supreme Commander 2 engine. Well I hope that they won't keep it on hold for long because this game seems rather interesting.
