Namco Bandai has announced a specific date for Saber's 'Gears of War loving' Inversion and it's February 8th next year in the United Kingdom.

They used Epic's Gears of War "as an inspiration" and say "why reinvent the wheel?" Inversions brings something new "on the physics front."

"To be perfectly honest, we used Gears as an inspiration. We're not going to shy away from it - it's a good game, and why reinvent the wheel?" said Saber's Matthew Karch in 2010.

"I think what we're bringing new is really on the physics front."

"Yeah, I'm sure some people are going to say that, and that's fine. As long as we can match what Gears is doing... We love that game, so why not?" he continued. Inversion release for Xbox 360 and PS3 February 8th, 2012. It's like GOW but with a gravity gun.

That cool with you?

Since there isn't going to be a PC version I don't care if this turns out to be a flop or even if the devs go out of business.
