CEO Mike Morhaime of Blizzard has affirmed that his studio aren't developing some World of Warcraft sequel with their super secret project Titan MMO.

Blizzard has tasked "some of our most experienced" devs from WoW on this new project, and they're "really trying to leverage all the lessons" learned.

"Without giving away any details, we have some of our most experienced MMO developers, people who spent years working on the World of WarCraft team, working on this project,” said Mike Morhaime, Blizzard's Orc Warchief.

“We’re really trying to leverage all the lessons we learned through the years. Some of which we were able to address in World of Warcraft and others that maybe because of the design decisions we’ve made, you just can’t address."

“So we’re kind of taking a step back with all that knowledge to make something that’s completely new and fresh. We’re not trying to make a WOW sequel.” Whatever Titan is Blizzard are predicting the fruits of their efforts to be releasing by Fall 2013.

During Activision Blizzard's Q4 fiscal report they revealed Blizzard will be retailing "a minimum" of two videogames before the end of 2012. Diablo III and StarCraft 2?

Will be interesting to see just what exactly these acclaimed MMO developers can bring next, will WoW just be a 1-time wonder for them? or do they have the skill-set to keep on delivering? Time will tell.
