Skyline map.
PC gamers will finally get to sample some Crysis 2 multiplayer action as Electronic Arts has announced that the multiplayer demo will be arriving on March 1, three weeks before the game's official release. The demo includes two maps and two game modes in 6 vs. 6 gameplay.

The first map is "Skyline”, the familiar map seen in many videos, which is set on top of the rooftops and interiors of skyscrapers, and “Pier 17”, an open environment with limited cover. The two game modes include “Team Instant Action”, which is team deathmatch, and “Crash Site,” where players will battle for control of alien drop pods, earning points by guarding their pods and keeping enemies at bay.

EA is offering bonus items for players who pre-order Crysis 2 today. This deal gives them an automatic upgrade to the Crysis 2 Limited Edition, which includes:

• Bonus XP - Players will jump into multiplayer battles with an edge by starting with enough experience points to gain early access to all preset class load-outs plus a custom class.
• SCAR Hologram Decoy - This special attachment to the SCAR will project a hologram image of the player, allowing them to confuse their opponents with the decoy.
• SCAR Weapon Skin - This digital camouflage skin will allow players to add a personalised touch to one of the more popular assault rifles in the game.
• Platinum Dog Tag - This special one-of-a-kind dog tag is one of over 250 that will be collectible in Crysis 2 multiplayer, helping to separate you from the rest of the field.

@Xyfer117
If your rig could handle Crysis then it certainly can handle Crysis 2.

MP demos are never my thing, and I didn't enjoy MP in the original anyway. "Crisis Wars" was a small bit of fun, but then so was "Section 8"'s MP. I'll wait for the full SP release, after it has been reviewed by gamers.

With a game like this, a demo is always good to at least see how your computer will handle it. Gives you a chance to find the perfect settings so when the full-game becomes available you can basically jump straight into the action!

@ Zerk. Atleast around here, you are more likely to be paying a total price of approx $ 66 dollars. Dead Space 2 is $ 59,99 at walmart here. That is with tax $ 65.83.

@Zerk - do you know if a crysis acount is the same as the EA account or this is some new shite they been cooking up? I like to have my shooters on STEAM - but I'm not a fan of having too many logins and diddly whatsnots but if it works like BF BC 2 - I can live with it, as long as I don't have to start a new acount that is...

You can buy Crysis 2 on Steam if you want it on Steam. :P

I know, but that wasn't what I asked - I asked about having the Crysis account on top of that - maybe not in such a clear way but it was late and I had a beer night with friends ;)
