Warner's Mortal Kombat reboot out in UK April 21st, a little delay

Originally scheduled for April 18th, Mortal Kombat will now scandalously be delayed three whole days until April 21st rolls around in the United Kingdom.

While I write my MP in outrage, remember that original Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon is working with developer NetherRealm Studios on this new effort.

Confirmed fighters to the death are Cyrax, Ermac, Jade, Jax, Johnny Cage, Kitana, Kung Lao, Mileena, Nightwolf, Raiden, Reptile, Scorpion, Sektor, Shao Kahn, Sindel, Sonya, and Sub-Zero. The PlayStation 3 version also guest stars God of War's Kratos.

It's a face palming decision as obviously PlayStation's Kevin Butler would have been the better PS3 exclusive treat - stupid executives! There's still no word if NetherRealm will be sneaking in an exclusive Xbox 360 star or not.

Mortal Kombat releases on Xbox 360 and PS3 April 21st.

It has to be, because the last ones were so bad, this one can't be that bad.

I must admit that I'm looking forward to this, whilst it's not my typical choice of game, it has become somewhat of a ritual that when I go over to one of my mate's house, we play a few rounds of a fighting game (usually Street Fighter IV). Would be nice to have something fresh to play, and Mortal Kombat sounds perfect to me!
