Executive producer Greg Goodrich posted a message in the official Medal of Honor blog called, "In case you were wondering..." officially confirming Medal of Honor 2, which will once again be developed by Danger Close.

The blog reads: "Yes, Danger Close is currently working on the next Medal of Honor.

Just recently, EA announced that the reboot of Medal of Honor was a big success with over 5 million copies sold. We wanted to take a moment to thank each of you for supporting us, our new studio and our storied franchise. We would especially like to thank all of the long time Medal of Honor fans out there who have stuck with us over the years.

Since our launch last October, we've studied, listened and absorbed much of your feedback and are very excited to be marching forward on the next title. We can't wait to tell you more about it, so check back often to the website and the fan page on Facebook."

Let us know if you're interested in Medal of Honor 2.

I wonder if DICE will be working on the multiplayer portion again..

I still think they should have stayed in WWII or maybe back to WWI at the start of the war when it wasn't all trench warfare. This is not gunna work, do they really think that dice will try harder on this mp than in their own game coming out this year? (that's if they still hire dice). What demographic are they aiming for here? Online FPS gamers who don't play COD or BF, oh yeah, lots of those hanging about just ready to spill 60€...

With "BF 1943" cancelled for PC, this would have been a good opportunity for "MoH" to return to the Pacific War. Unfortunately the 5 million units sold doesn't reflect the number of players who were duped into believing the game would be ground-breakingly differnt. It wasn't and still isn't. It's a haven for hackers, cheats and campers...on very small maps. I enjoyed "MoH" for what it was, but won't be buying a second installment until it is drastically reduced in price...and people play it.

Not really something that rocked my boat - too many other titles already. Homefront, Duke, BF3, maybe Bulletstorm are shooters in my book that flies higher.
