Already leaked by the Australian games rating board, Russian publisher 1C Company has revealed a videogame adaptation by developer Saber Interactive of the upcoming science-fiction war flick Battle: Los Angeles on the official site. According to the site, using a Google translator: Near future. Alien invaders suddenly attacked the major cities of the earth. Population in a panic, the military unsuccessfully tried to repel an attack. One of the hot spot is Los Angeles - for a few days it turns into a battleground between the superior forces of the aliens and the elite units of the U.S. Army. The detachment of Marines charged with breaking through the ranks of the enemy's defenses and cause civilian environment. But very soon the rescue operation turns into a desperate gamble, the outcome of which depends on who wins the battle for the City of Angels. Acted as Sergeant Nantz - one of the main characters of films, the player will perform a series of dangerous missions on the front line, which runs through the streets of the dilapidated metropolis. If that weren't enough, the site has two screenshots. One has the player manning a turret, and the other has the player outside a building as a grey alien scurries across the screen. It looks somewhat like a science-fiction Call of Duty-type game, though with lesser graphics. The game is listed only for PC on the site, with the following system requirements: Operating system Windows XP/Vista/7; Intel Core 2 Duo / AMD ATHLON X2 clocked at 2.5 GHz or higher; 2 GB of RAM; 2 GB free hard disk space; Video Card NVIDIA GeForce 8700/ATI Radeon X1800 or better; Sound card; DVD-ROM Keyboard and mouse.
