Modern Warfare 3 countdown has begun [FAKE]

Here we go again, folks. Another countdown has popped up, much like Bethesda's countdown to the The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim reveal trailer. This one, however, is at a site called findmakarov.com, which industry writers were directed to from a set of dog tags sent to them by Activision.


Makarov, as you may remember, was the villain of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

The countdown hits zero a few days from now, so will we be seeing the first details and possibly video of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3? Probably - it'll be interesting to see who the developer is.

Another CoD title? Seems to me they want to milk as much money as possibly off the franchise. Greedy fascist corporations.

Harder to do with a first person shooter. They've had yearly Call of Duty games for years now.

Plus, you don't have to buy instruments to play.

I'm so stoke!!! I hope its not a prequel, though I wouldn't be upset cause Ghost is bad ass. Modern Warfare 3 website http://mwarfare3.com says the game is coming out November 11. What you guys think?

I hope we dont get a 5 second tease, and they actually release some information and stuff. I cant wait!! bye bye crappy black ops

I'll probably buy it, since it's being made by IW. Treyarch on the other hand, well, not even Zombies makes it worth going through another load of glitches.

I think if its MW3, then its not gonna be as good as was MW2, because old team members have left (or got fired). And i'm not sure i will buy it, since i don't want to support Kotick.

Zerk, don't you like Elder Scrolls serie? Oblivion still rocks, I hope they will not create a flop with ES 5: Skyrim.
As for the rest... yes, today's games are mostly junk.

I doubtfully believe that any new MW will be able to match Battlefield 3 in any way; and from what, i think and heard is that the new MW will be a prequel to WM2 showing Ghost's story, i know i read this right here, just don't remember exactly the specifics.

Modern Warfare and Battlefield are two very different games.

They're also both Activision, and I'm sure the tech in BF3 will find its way into MW3.

I was looking forward to "TW: Shogun 2", then I played the Demo. Now I know the shortcomings and suchforth with Demos, but CA have always been very spot-on with theirs (I still have copies of the very first "Shogun" Demo - still in their cardbaoard sleeves). Unimpressed is a mild way of putting my feelings about it, and that had nothing to do with the AI which I know is scripted into the main game.

As for "MW 3" - I can see I'll be getting this for my son as "CoD" always arrives a week from his birthday.
