Bohemia Interactive has announced that ArmA II: Reinforcements will be arriving on 1st April, 2011 and will add two independent factions – British Armed Forces and Private Military Company. Each faction can be played separately in non-linear campaign, or join friends in multiplayer battles in Takistan with up to 50 players and hundreds of AI units.

As a special bonus, each retail version of ArmA II: Reinforcements in Europe includes a unique printed, large map showing Takistan on the front with Shapur & The Proving Grounds on the reverse.

Marek Spanel, Bohemia Interactive CEO, on the release of Arma 2: Reinforcements: “We´ve received numerous requests from our customers and the community to deliver both expansions on DVD. We´re always trying to deliver something more and here it is, new campaigns, dozens of units all completely standalone to be played solo or to be combined with our other great military simulators into one ultimate pack. And that’s not forgetting the hundreds of superb community made addons/mods/campaigns which are fully compatible with all versions of our games including Arma 2: Reinforcements”

ArmA II: Reinforcements will be available for EUR 29.99.

April 1, eh? Is this true...or a joke/ My guess is it'll be true, but I do hope it is more like "BAF" than "PMC", as the latter addition lacked in content and substance comparitively.

Aren't they just chucking everything on one disk?

That's a shame, and it's not even Christmas, an excuse for shovelling DLC onto a disc (I'll wear my glasses next time). Printable versions of the maps should have come with the DLC's anyway.
