Dragon Age II composer says "EA pushed hard to release DA2, my score was rushed"

Dragon Age II composer Inon Zur has admitted that his score for the game was rushed because EA wanted to "capitalize on the success of Origins".

"I know there are a few bugs that still need to be fixed. Unlike other titles from Bioware, this (score) was kind of a rush job. EA really wanted to capitalize on the success of Origins, so the game was really being pushed hard to be released now. So I’d like to know if there are bugs, or if there’s anything we could patch or fix." said Zur in an interview with IGN.

You could put this down as the reason why Dragon Age 2 hasn't received the review scores that EA wanted. Rushed titles often leave consumers with bugs and missing features, which are resolved with patches in time.

You can see why Strategy Informer gave Dragon Age II 8.5/10 here.

The problem with the games industry for the last 10+ years. The people at the top love money, not games. I'll happily bet that most CEOs and board members have not of their own volition played a game for years.
More love, less greed.

Though my problem isn't with the score - it is with other parts of the game as well as with the dialog sound.
