Next week, Dungeons will be getting some new downloadable content, a $3.99 USD pack that will add new adventures to the action/strategy game.

The DLC, "Into the Dark", is described as "The first DLC pack for the critically acclaimed evildoer game Dungeons delivers new challenges for wannabe dungeon lords. Heart of the download content is the new campaign map Flowerdale, in which players have to deal with with (sic) ever new waves of heroes. The pack also includes ten new maps for the game modes survival, soul survival, sandbox and amusement and twenty new prestige items."

"The first DLC pack for the critically acclaimed evildoer game Dungeons..."
Its critically acclaimed alright, in a bad way.
Avoid at all costs.

I thought about giving it a try... but the demo wasn't convincing at all. Too bad DK2 won't run on Windows 7. Anybody from GOG reading this?:)

The game was so disappointing, this kind of DLC won't make it better

I wasn't terribly overly impressed with the base game to be ruthlessly honest. Too much sitting around for the right triggers to be hit by NPC's and the whole concept got a little unmanageable at times.

.....as always this game as others is just a matter of tastes....I think it has a lot of potential, and bringing some DLCs to make this game even better is the right direction for the company to polish it and to give the masses what they want....
