New Assassin's Creed info coming in "next few months"

Ubisoft Montreal art director Mohamed Gambouz has revealed that details on the next Assassin's Creed game will arrive in "the next few months."

At an Assassin's Creed art exhibition in Munich, Gambouz was asked about where the next Assassin's Creed game would be set, and he reportedly answered: "Well, I personally would do something completely new. Maybe something in an Asian or South American setting, at least nothing that we have already made. But in the end it's not my decision.

"But you can be sure that we read the reactions of our customers in forums, blogs and Facebook and Twitter very closely and also seriously talk through the suggestions from our players from time to time. In the next few months you will truly experience more details."

Earlier this year, Ubisoft had stated in an earnings call that the company would release new information about the next title in May, and that a new game would probably be coming sometime in fiscal year 2011-2012.

Honestly the story is the only thing that keeps me going.

@ Powerjack. Yeah cause the game play style is basically the same from the first to the most recent game.
By PowerJack (SI Elite) on Apr 08, 2011
PowerJack
@ Eversor Exactly, it's the same - boring as hell.
Once you get counter you are God, you could just jump in the middle of an army and get out untouched.

Wha!! Somebody Ban Eversor and PowerJack! Before they Corrupt everyone with such Blasphemis talk!
Lol! JK! :)
I liked the play style. I prefer it to just running into the battlefield aimlessly slashing and hacking everything in sight. That would be way too uncivlized for an Assassino! ;)

All of the AC games do have very good story lines.

@Eversor - Agreed, I hope they dont decide to turn them into movies though, they'd probably ruin the franchise.
By Eversor (SI Elite) on Apr 10, 2011
Eversor
@ Xyfer. That's a posability. Game-to-movie adaptations are almost always sideways in comparison to the game,

There already are 3 short movies out.
By Eversor (SI Elite) on Apr 11, 2011

@ chiefone. Correction, there is only 1 short movie of approx 30 minutes.
