Kinect used to fly AR drone

Microsoft's fancy Kinect technology has been tinkered with again and this time to fly an AR drone about a room by moving the users' arms around and tilting.

Naturally the US military will commandeer the project and pour billions into weaponising Kinects around the world to help fight off parasites to Lady Liberty.

Witness what the power of imagination and having an afternoon or two to spare can do for our glorious species. Who needs soldiers when we've got a Kinect AR drone armada large enough to block out the sun?

First PS3's used for military imaging processes, now Kinect for drones. I think in the future, the main customer of companies like Sony or Nintendo will be the USA military :P
