Test Drive Unlimited 2 gets free DLC

The devs at Test Drive Unlimited 2 have announced that "The Exploration Pack" DLC is almost out the door, and will not only include new cars and wreck and mission locations (20 each), but will also give players the ability to sell their duel cars and patch a bunch of bugs in the game as well.

The DLC also includes 3D support for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Here are the release notes for The Exploration Pack:

Features
* 20 new missions
* 2 new mission types: Extreme Convoy and Timed Convoy
* 20 new wrecks to find which give you access to 2 new exclusive cars: Lancia Stratos version Rallye and Dodge charger 1969
* 3 additional Discovery levels
* 2 new Multiplayer Races for the Lancia Stratos
* DLC: Help channel in TDU media
* 3D display mode (PS3/PC)
* Bikes dealer, Auction hall, clothes shop are in “under construction” mode
* DLC2 Car dealers are present but not activated


Enhancements
* Ability to sell duel cars
* Co-driving unlocks roads for the passenger
* Increased rewards in multi challenges and car restrictions
* PC Chat: Updated colors and position
* Free ride players’ names updated: lighter display
* PC : Edit profile (resolves incompatibility Atari.com account changes)


Bug fixes
* Fixes for instant challenges (off-road)
* Impact sound after jump
* Fixes for casino roulette exploits
* Fix for Casino Level 10 cut scene crash
* Properly initialize club cars in lobby list (to play club races with club cars)
* IP Voice menu management on PS3 (enables the player to turn off IP Voice)

Playing video car games reducese the quality of driving in the real world, so the latest studies have shown. Just thought I'd pop that in:)

And for those not driving, I don't think it's healthy, getting used to shoving everything out of their way and speeding, it makes normal driving seem boring and they would be more likely to do crazy stuff. No study this time, just my 2 cents :P

It was about time. I was outraged that the horrendously bug-infested game didn't get a proper patch for months after release. By proper I mean patch that actually addresses issues with the game itself, not the **** paid casino DLC that has nothing to do with core gameplay.
Now, they're hoping to make up for it by this DLC... at least something, but the most important problems persist. You should have seen the official forums - Atari/Eden have lost a great deal of fans these months.

I drive totally differently than in-game:) I use a keyboard (until the Tron gamepad arrives, that is:) so the experience is completely different.
